Wessex Rivers Trust plays a key role in this more inclusive approach, also known as the
Catchment Based Approach.
We work closely with our partners throughout the Wessex area to address the various challenges affecting our rivers, develop and undertake projects which focus on achieving multiple benefits for a variety of stakeholders.
Hosted by Wessex Rivers Trust and the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust, the partnership brings together a wide range of sectors, enabling members to draw on each other’s expertise and local knowledge to discuss and develop plans to address key issues currently affecting the health of our rivers. Find out more about the Test & Itchen catchments and the work of the partnership at the interactive online catchment hub.
As the host for the partnership, the Wessex Rivers Trust facilitates and promotes collaborative working amongst stakeholders to ensure the needs and challenges they face are taken into account during the delivery of projects which ultimately aim to improve the health of our rivers.
