Crystal Clear Ebble

We are able to offer free education sessions to schools in and around the Chase and Chalke Landscape Partnership area under the Crystal Clear Ebble Project. Sessions are aimed at Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils and available on a first come, first served basis, subject to the availability of funding. For more information, contact the Education and Engagement team education@wessexrt.org.uk or 01722 654253.

The Chase and Chalke Landscape Partnership is a group of organisations working to protect and enhance the special landscape of Cranborne Chase and the Chalke Valley. With Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) as the lead partner, and with support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, this 5-year partnership is working with local communities to better connect people with the landscape.

Our aim is to deliver twenty projects across the Chase and Chalke Landscape Partnership area. They will provide benefits to individuals, communities, heritage and the landscape. One of these projects is the Crystal Clear Ebble, which aims to inspire communities to engage with the river and celebrate its value.

In addition to Wessex Rivers Trust staff-led sessions, schools and groups can borrow river dipping equipment and run their own activities. Equipment can be borrowed from Cranborne Chase AONB, for details email chaseandchalke@cranbornechase.org.uk
