All state funded schools with 20% or more pupils eligible for Free School Meals are able to apply for a grant of up to £500 towards the cost of transport to an Our River, Our Water session.

We use the “Get information about schools service” as our data source to confirm percentage of Free School Meals.

• Grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. If your application is successful, you will be sent an email to confirm the grant. We aim to respond within five working days.
• Your school is eligible for one grant per academic year.
• Visits and trips must have been taken before the end of July 2024.
• Applications must be made in advance, there can be no retrospective applications.

The Our River, Our Water project is a partnership between Southern Water and the Rivers Trusts South East, a group of Rivers Trusts covering the south east of England. The Travel Grant funding is provided by Southern Water and managed by Wessex Rivers Trust.
