Salisbury to Rome

This afternoon, after walking 2410 km from Salisbury we finally reached St Peter’s Square in Rome. We feel a little tired but 142 days on the road, crossing Europe through four countries, has been a thoroughly enriching experience for us: spiritually, culturally and physically. Appropriately, rain arrived just as we did, clearing the square of people and enabling photographs to be taken.
