Cross the bridge and turn left, so the river is on your left and follow the path down so you are in line with the war memorial then the way maker is on a little wooden post just behind the green railing.

Did you know?

• The Migrant hawker is a type of dragonfly and its scientific name is Aeshna mixta.
• It first arrived in the south of the UK in the 1940s and has been expanding its range northwards up into Scotland with rising temperatures.
• They can be seen in the UK from July to November migrating from mainland Europe.
• They have not been classed as an invasive species as they have not caused any ecological/environmental damage yet.
• They are mainly brown, with females having yellow spots and the males having yellow and blue spots.
• They grow up to 6.3cm
• They are the fastest dragonfly and can fly backwards!
