Watercress and Winterbournes is a Landscape Partnership Scheme protecting, enhancing and celebrating the seven chalk streams that make up the headwaters of the Rivers Test and Itchen: the Bourne Rivulet, Candover Brook, Cheriton Stream, Pillhill Brook, River Arle, Upper Anton and Upper Test. The scheme is supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and brings together 16 partners, including Wessex Rivers Trust.

Our education programme is available to schools and groups within the project area and aims to teach young people about chalk stream history and cultural heritage, chalk stream wildlife and the pressures our chalk streams are under.
