Did you know?

•The water tower was built in the 1860s to power the fountains that were once here, and store water so the flowerbeds could be irrigated.
• It is built in a gothic style which was the current trend at the time.
• The water tower would have been fed by the old water wheel.
• It is now used as a bat shelter to a variety of species, such as the Common and Soprano pipistrelle.
