Directions:

You can either extend the nature trail by crossing the road and going round Central gardens or you can continue along this one by turning left and following the path round into the other entrance.

Did you know?

• Their scientific name is Rutilus rutilus and they are a member of the carp family, the largest fish family with around 3,000 species.
• Roach like living in lowland lakes and slow-moving rivers. They have a wide temperature range and will tolerate polluted waters meaning they can be found in a lot of waterways.
• They can live for between 8 to 14yrs growing up to 40cm.
• They are also omnivores, meaning they will eat invertebrates, fish eggs, seeds, and plants, but Herons love to eat them!
